We
invite you to the National historical and ethnographic
Museum
"Vytoki"
The Historical and ethnographic Museum "Vytoki"
was opened on July 1, 2004. In order to create the museum, search groups of
students were created, each of which received a task. During the performance of
the tasks, the students collected 620 items, which became the basis for the
creation of the exposition.
The opening of the museum was an important event for
students, their parents, teachers and residents of nearby villages. The team of
the school has done a great work: from a previously small ethnographic museum
the museum turned into a place where the history of native villages
"revived, began to speak", where the fate of many fellow villagers is
depicted.
In 2009, the museum was completely
reconstructed, and on July 2, 2009 it was inaugurated in honor of the 65th
anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.
On March 31, 2015 the
museum "Vytoki" was awarded the title "National".
The purpose of the museum is civil-patriotic education and
the formation of value relations to the history, culture of the state, the
small Motherland.
The main activities of the museum are
- stock activity;
- exposition activity;
- excursion activity;
- cultural and educational
activities.
The total area of the museum is 94 sq.m.
The total number of exhibits is 1212, including the main
fund - 1067.
The museum's profile is a local history.
